Wild Irish Crafts is located in Cronelea, Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow, Ireland and was founded in 1980. Wildflowers including rosebay, willow, herb, fuchsia and heather are gathered in the Co. Wicklow foothills for use in Wild Irish framed prints and pieces of art.

Following the traditional method, the wildflowers are hand-picked and dried by a lengthy process. Each piece is placed in a timberpress between blotting paper and layered with newspaper print. The press is tightened and the leaves are kept in a warm, dry environment for at least three weeks. This pressing process removes moisture, but leaves the color, shape, and texture of the blooms intact.

After pressing, the flowers are arranged along with Irish verses, proverbs and blessings. The designs are framed under glass in solid pine frames.
