Royal Tara Fine Bone Chine and Irish Gifts is located on the west coast in Galway, Ireland and was started in 1953. Still located in the 18th century Tara Hall, in Galway, the property once belonged to the Joyce family - one of the fourteen tribes of Galway. Strong ties to Ireland's history are showcased over the many Irish themes used on Royal Tara's gifts. Their pieces contain shamrocks and distinctive Irish floral designs.

Royal Tara's Fine Bone China is known for its high quality and strength, but also for it's usefulness and uniqueness. In addition to the china, the Islandcraft line features carved wooden gifts that are handmade. The craftsmen weave seven different varieties and colors of wood to make exquisite Irish wooden plaques and Celtic clocks. Irish candleholders and picture frames are all done by hand-carving the intricate patterns.
